GUBUS is a routing engine that transforms Google Spreadsheets into a structured IT system. Think of it as middleware that adds flashfast data routing, business logic, automations and api integration capabilities to your spreadsheets, turning them from simple data storage into powerful CRM/ERP systems.

You don’t need to install GUBUS in the traditional sense - there’s no software to download or install on your computer. GUBUS operates entirely within the Google ecosystem as a cloud-native solution. When you create a GUBUS project, the system injects an admin Spreadsheet into your Google Drive folder that contains all the GUBUS logic, schemas, and configuration. This spreadsheet becomes the control center for your entire GUBUS setup, managing data routing, transformations, and integrations. Think of it as GUBUS “living” inside your Google Drive, where it orchestrates your data flows without requiring any local installation or maintenance.

For now, GUBUS is completely free while its functionality set is considered ‘beta’. However, it will definitely become a paid service in the future. Not necessarily! GUBUS is totally no-code solution. You don’t even need to mess with Apps Script. The main interface uses Google Spreadsheets, which most people are familiar with. However, to develop GUBUS with AI some basic knowledge of programming would be an advantage.

GUBUS uses Telegram API it two ways. First and main - is logging of whatever happens in GUBUS to team. There is no better place for it, as TG Group. Second, it provides mobile-friendly, message-style interactions to expose/input data. You can receive notifications, query data, and even perform actions through Telegram messages, making it perfect for on-the-go business management.

Yes! GUBUS’s weird architecture guarantees data safety. GUBUS doesn’t ship data between clients, it interacts with Google Spreadsheets, so there is only on API endpoint - touchGubus. The effect of this touch is not exposed to outer and you can observe it in Google Spreadsheets only. So as long as your Google password is secure, GUBUS is secure.

GUBUS stops to route data between your Spreadsheets. Your data remains in your Google Spreadsheets located on your Google Drive, completely accessible, editable and movable to other systems. GUBUS doesn’t lock you in.

Yes, GUBUS is a separately running server that became a PRO in Google Spreadsheets REST API and executes multiple secret optimizations inside. That’s why GUBUS is so much faster than Apps Script!
